WhatsApp Business API

Bulk WhatsApp messaging and customer notifications, triggered from your ERP.

Key features

Triggered from the ERP

Order and invoice notifications are sent automatically from ERP events.

Campaigns and reminders

Campaign messages and appointment reminders go out on the same platform.

Single panel

Every send is managed and tracked from one panel.

Every message type, from text to location

Send text, images, video, audio, documents, stickers and locations; react to messages with an emoji and delete messages you sent.

Bulk sending, tracked

Queue a recipient list with one call, set the pause between messages yourself, follow total, sent and failed counts, and cancel if needed.

Signed webhooks with retries

Incoming messages and events are delivered to your URL by HTTP POST; the body is signed with your secret using HMAC-SHA256 and failed deliveries are retried.

Role and session based access

API keys carry one of the Viewer, Operator or Admin roles; they can optionally be limited by an IP allowlist and restricted to specific sessions only.

Real-time events and auditing

Follow session and message events live; statistics, health endpoints and an administrator audit log keep operations visible.

Product documentation

Overview

ERP-triggerable bulk messaging over the WhatsApp Business API. Campaigns, order and invoice notifications, appointment reminders — all from a single panel.

Sending messages

Per-session REST endpoints

  • Separate send endpoints for text, images, video, audio, documents, stickers and locations.
  • Media is supplied by URL or as base64; captions and file names can be added to images and documents.
  • A message can get an emoji reaction, and a message you sent can be deleted.
  • Message history is listable; statuses: pending, sent, delivered, read, failed.

Bulk sending

  • One call starts a bulk send with a name, a recipient list and a shared text; each recipient can also carry its own text.
  • You choose the pause between messages, in milliseconds.
  • Each bulk job reports total, sent and failed counts and a status (queued, running, completed, cancelled, failed).
  • A running bulk job can be cancelled.

Sessions and QR linking

Each WhatsApp account is a session. Sessions are created, started and stopped; the QR code is returned as an image.

  • On your phone follow WhatsApp → Settings → Linked Devices → Link a Device and scan the QR code.
  • Session states: initialising, QR ready, connecting, connected, disconnected, failed, stopped.
  • The link is persistent; you only need to scan the QR again after a restart if the device was removed from the phone.
  • A session's groups and contacts can be listed as well.

Incoming messages by webhook

  • One or more webhooks are defined per session; you choose which events to receive, and the default is incoming messages.
  • Events are delivered to your URL by HTTP POST; if you provide a secret the body is signed with HMAC-SHA256 and you can verify the signature from the header.
  • Failed deliveries are repeated up to the retry count you set (3 by default).
  • After saving a webhook, use the test endpoint to confirm your URL responds.

Authorisation and security

  • Every request is authenticated with the X-API-Key header; keys are stored in the database only as a SHA-256 hash and only a short prefix is ever displayed.
  • Three roles: Viewer (read), Operator (session, message and webhook actions), Admin (key management, session deletion, audit log).
  • Optional per key IP allowlist (CIDR) and session scope: a restricted key reaches only the endpoints and lists of its own sessions.
  • Only the health endpoints are open without authentication; the session-scope rule is locked in by tests.

Monitoring, statistics and auditing

  • Live events: session and message events are followed per session over a real-time (SignalR) channel.
  • Statistics: session, message and webhook totals with a per-session summary.
  • Health: liveness and readiness endpoints without authentication; they never leak connection detail.
  • Audit log: administrators can list the actions performed.
  • Swagger: every endpoint is documented and can be tried interactively.

Installation and operation

  • Data is kept in SQL Server; tables are created automatically on first start.
  • Runs on your own server as a Windows service; a management panel (sessions, message tester, webhooks, API keys, logs) is provided separately.
  • Endpoints are published behind HTTPS and can be monitored through the health endpoint.
  • Usage examples for C#, VB.NET, Java and curl are on the product's landing page.

Today vs. with WhatsApp Business API

Order and invoice notifications

Today (manual / spreadsheets)Notification messages are typed one by one on a phone.

With WhatsApp Business APIMessages go out automatically from ERP events through a REST call.

Bulk sending

Today (manual / spreadsheets)The list is worked through by hand; nobody knows who got the message and who did not.

With WhatsApp Business APIThe list is queued with one call; total, sent and failed counts are tracked and the job can be cancelled.

Incoming messages

Today (manual / spreadsheets)Replies stay on the phone and never reach your systems.

With WhatsApp Business APIIncoming messages are forwarded to your application through a signed webhook; failed deliveries are retried.

How does pricing work?

Pricing depends on the modules you use and on the number of users and companies. Try it free first or ask for a short live demo; once the scope is clear, we send a written quote.

  • We are with you during installation and initial setup.
  • No credit card or payment details needed for the trial.
  • The quote states the scope, number of users and support period clearly.

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1. Create and link a session

Create and start a session, fetch its QR code and scan it in WhatsApp on your phone under Linked Devices; the link survives restarts.

  2. 2. Set up a key and a webhook

Create an API key with the right role, add IP and session limits if needed; register your webhook URL for incoming messages and test it.

  3. 3. Send messages

Send messages from your application with a REST call; you can first try them by hand in the Swagger interface or the panel's message tester.

Frequently asked questions

How do I link my WhatsApp account?

Create and start a session, fetch the QR code and scan it on your phone in WhatsApp under Settings → Linked Devices → Link a Device. The link survives restarts.

Which message types can I send?

Text, images, video, audio, documents, stickers and locations; you can also react to a message with an emoji and delete a message you sent.

Can I send bulk messages?

Yes. You queue a recipient list with one call, set the pause between messages yourself, follow the job's progress and cancel it if needed.

How do I receive incoming messages in my application?

Define a webhook on the session; incoming messages are delivered to your URL by HTTP POST. If you provide a secret the body is signed with HMAC-SHA256, and failed deliveries are retried.

Can I restrict what my keys can access?

Yes. Each key has a role (Viewer, Operator, Admin); an optional IP allowlist and a restriction to specific sessions can be added. Fill in the quote form to learn more.
