Product documentation

Overview

Corporate ideas & feedback platform. Employees submit ideas, managers triage them, the system tracks every step end-to-end. Formerly FikirKutusu — rebranded as ECHO in May 2026.

Submitting ideas and reports

Two record types, one form

The employee picks a record type: an Idea («What would you like to improve?») or a Report («What happened, where, when?»).

  • Choose a subject, location, category and priority; required fields are marked.
  • Solution / benefit: the proposed solution and expected advantage go in a separate field.
  • The record's owner, manager and department are stored with it, and every record receives a form number.

Evaluation workflow

Seven statuses from New to Completed

Every idea moves through a status flow. The default statuses:

#Status
1New
2Under review
3Evaluated
4Approved / Rejected
5In progress
6Completed
  • In the evaluation dialog a manager enters the status and a note and can set a deadline; a confirmation is asked before saving.
  • The history lists every status change with its date, note and the person who made it.

The status list can be adapted to your organisation on the System definitions screen.

Comments and support

  • Each idea's detail page carries comments; the conversation flows chronologically below the idea.
  • The Support this idea button is one vote per person; clicking again withdraws the support.
  • A deleted comment is removed from the list but kept in the record for the audit trail.

Dashboard and reports

  • Dashboard: total ideas with a Today · This week · This month breakdown; distribution by status, category, department and priority; the top 5 contributors and the latest 10 ideas.
  • Lists: ideas and reports have their own screens; filter, sort and export to Excel.
  • Reports: idea and report reports are available to managers.

Moderation queue

When a user is placed under moderation, the ideas and comments they submit await approval and appear in no list, dashboard or detail page.

  • Administrators see the pending idea and comment counts as a badge on the Pending approval screen and publish them in one click.
  • Submissions from the demo account go through this queue by default.

Installation and operations

  • Runs as a Windows service on your organisation's server; data lives in SQL Server.
  • Emails (password resets, idea notifications) go out through the ERP Posta relay; no mailbox password is stored in the application.
  • Sample definitions and demo ideas are loaded on first start, so you begin with a living system rather than an empty screen.
  • Turkish and English interface, light and dark themes; health endpoints (/health) for monitoring.

Today vs. with ECHO

Collecting ideas

Today (manual / spreadsheets)Suggestions stay in hallway talk, e-mail or a suggestion box; who proposed what gets lost.

With ECHOEmployees send an idea or report from one form with topic, location, category and priority.

What happened to the idea?

Today (manual / spreadsheets)The person who proposed it never learns whether it was reviewed.

With ECHOIdeas move through a status flow; managers add notes and target dates, and every change is logged.

Which idea should go first?

Today (manual / spreadsheets)Priority goes to whoever speaks loudest.

With ECHOEmployees vote to support ideas; the dashboard shows the breakdown by status, category and department.

How does pricing work?

Pricing depends on the modules you use and on the number of users and companies. Try it free first or ask for a short live demo; once the scope is clear, we send a written quote.

  • We are with you during installation and initial setup.
  • No credit card or payment details needed for the trial.
  • The quote states the scope, number of users and support period clearly.

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1. Set up definitions

Define departments, locations, categories, priorities and idea statuses — or start from the ready-made sample definitions.

  2. 2. Add your employees

Create users and their roles; everyone sets their own password and can turn on two-step verification.

  3. 3. Collect ideas

Employees submit ideas and reports; managers evaluate them and the dashboard shows progress.

Frequently asked questions

How do we start using ECHO?

Fill in the quote form; we will get back to you based on your setup and user count.

What is the difference between an idea and a report?

An idea is an improvement proposal that goes through evaluation. A report records something that happened (what, where, when). Each has its own lists and reports.

Can we define our own idea statuses?

Yes. New, Under review, Evaluated, Approved, Rejected, In progress and Completed come ready; statuses, categories, priorities, locations and departments are edited on the System definitions screen.

Can inappropriate content be stopped before it goes public?

Yes. Ideas and comments from users under moderation are hidden everywhere until an administrator approves them.

Is two-step verification supported?

Yes. Every user can enable TOTP with an authenticator app, and 8 backup codes are issued in case the phone is lost.

Can we export our data?

Idea and report lists export to Excel, and the data stays in your own SQL Server.
